New York Scoring Update
I just finished reviewing our ward information for the stake leadership directory. Each time I look around the ward or at pictures of the members, I'm struck by the diversity. A decent number of ward leaders are converts, a handful of which joined the church in the last five years. There are auxiliary leaders from Mexico, Nigeria, the Ivory Coast, the Philippines, and Japan. Of the 38 named individuals in the directory, eleven have been in the ward fewer than three years. Add to this the native New Yorkers and transplants from the Mormon west and it makes for a great mix.
+3 New York.

I took the picture below on my way out of our meetinghouse a few weeks ago. Someone is probably storing this in the air conditioning alcove outside the building because there's no room in their apartment. That's sadly not uncommon. Stay classy Westchester.

"Someone"...? Time to just bring your potty seat home, dear. There's room for it now.
