For the love of Nikola Tesla...
...why have two Home Depots in a major suburban area been out of stock on Murray 15 amp single pole breakers for a week and a half? Why?
It's not like 15 amp is some freakish size that no one uses. It's not like Murray is uncommon; it's the most widely stocked breaker brand in the stupid store based on shelf space. It's not like I dropped in one store one time, didn't find what I wanted, and ran to the interwebz whining*.
I've heard your stupid slogan Home Depot, but I CAN'T FREAKING DO IT -- NOR CAN YOU HELP ME DO SAID IT -- IF YOU DON'T STOCK THE VERY SIMPLE, HIGHLY COMMON PART I NEED.
I've put up with the ridiculous lack of shopping carts, lumber carts, and flatbed carts in New Rochelle. I've dealt with condescending "associates"in Port Chester who assume that a clean shirt and dress shoes mean I don't know the difference between PVC and CPVC. I've even waited around for forty minutes without complaint while some miserable person rooted through the special orders area looking for our -- wait for it -- special order shower drain and failed to find it. For every frustration and ignominy I've suffered, Madame Delicious has endured three more.
We've paid our dues and have the American Express statements to prove it. Now please, please, please get some Murray 15 amp single pole breakers in so I can finish the electrical in the family room. I just need one more little breaker to finish this phase of the project. Please?
* I visited two stores half a dozen times over a ten day period and THEN ran to the interwebz whining.

There's also a store next to Stew Leonards. And you could get yourself some delicious dairy products if you go over there.
